Andrew Bynum strained the rotator cuff of his right shoulder while trying to block a shot Monday at Lakers practice, but is expected to practice tomorrow. Both Phil Jackson and Bynum said that the shoulder should not affect L.A.’s center Wednesday night against the Clippers.
“It’s just a little tight,” said Bynum. “I put some ice on it and it started to feel better … I didn’t feel any pop and it didn’t feel like anything happened, I just kind of tweaked it.”
“It’s just a strain, I think he’ll be fine,” added Jackson. “It’s just normal action that happens in basketball enough.”
Translation: Don’t worry folks.
